Innovative project – development of active materials for lithium-ion cells production

JSC “Zavod AIT” is carrying out R&D concerning development of active materials for lithium-ion cells production. The company has developed the cathode active material on the base of lithiated iron phosphate with modifying additive of manganese. “Zavod AIT” is conducting research in the sphere of operability assurance of lithium-ion cells and batteries at the negative temperatures.

Non-maintenance alkaline nickel-cadmium cells of KGL type – excellent reliability of backup power under all operating conditions

In compliance with the up-to-date requirements, our company has developed and introduced into production standard series of non-maintenance nickel-cadmium cells of KGL type for backup power of all stationary objects and transport vehicles. Non-maintenance alkaline nickel-cadmium cells with gas recombination conform to standard IEC 62259.

 

JSC «Zavod AIT» supplies batteries to the project to replace RITEGs with alternative power supply sources

Through the RITEGs replacement project alkaline nickel-cadmium cells of KPL type, manufactured by JSC “Zavod AIT”, are installed on the navigation marks and completed with solar and wind sets. Alkaline cells provide high reliability, maintainability after deep discharges, short circuits and long-term storage, and resistance to mechanical loadings even under severe climatic conditions of long polar night.
